Dear Tenants,

On Monday 23 March 2020, the New Zealand Government announced that the Covid-19 alert level will on, Wednesday 25 March at 11.59pm, be upgraded to alert level 4 – eliminate. This means that the disease is not contained.

A level 4 alert also means that people are instructed to stay at home, schools and universities closed, as well as non-essential businesses.

A major reprioritisation of health services, and air travel and public transport will only be for those who work in essential services. In addition to the banning of outdoor and indoor gatherings.

What does this mean?

It means that our office will close, and we will commence working from home. But our telephones and email will remain operational and you can contact us at any time. As we will continue to have access to all our systems, we will still process rents on a daily basis.

What else do I need to know?

Essential repairs will still be carried out. But only essential, that means burst water pipes, electricity failure etc. We have been in contact with our trades people and they have confirmed this with us.

The Government has also announced that effective immediately, all proposed rent increases are suspended, and no cause terminations banned. There are likely to be further announcements made in due course that will affect us all, we will keep you updated as they eventuate.
